Join us for a Christmas Eve walk around our new neighborhood. We walk from our home base near Igreja do Carmo to the Mercado da Ribeira (Time Out Market), and back. Not much to say today. We wander up some stairways and cross an alley with a funicular. As we got to the top of the hill, we come upon the Igreja das Chagas (the small church). We end our walk at the Igreja de Sao Roque; rather plain on the outside, but with ornate chapels filled with cherubs. Merry Christmas.
